  • Combine clinical history, laboratory evaluation, genetic testing, and renal biopsy as recommended to facilitate the accurate diagnosis of FSGS and IgAN
  • Discuss the limitations of standard treatments for FSGS and IgAN and how emerging agents could help address unmet needs
  • Explain the relationships between endothelin-1 and RAAS
  • Summarize the mechanisms of action and efficacy and safety data for emerging agents for FSGS and IgAN

TARGET AUDIENCE

The intended audience for this activity program are nephrologists/pediatric nephrologists, pediatricians, PCPs, internal medicine specialists, nurses, NPs, PAs, kidney transplant surgeons, care providers who see patients with conditions that may lead to nephrotic syndrome or a glomerular disease, pharmacists, and other HCPs involved in the management of patients with reduced kidney function.

ESTIMATED TIME TO COMPLETE

This activity should take approximately 1 hour to complete.

METHOD OF PARTICIPATION

There are no fees to participate in this activity. To participate in the activity, go to www.ClinicalSeriesLive.com. To receive credit, participants must (1) read the target audience, learning objectives, and disclosure statements, (2) complete the educational activity online, and (3) complete the post-test and activity evaluation. To receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, participants must receive a minimum score of 70% on the post-test.
